This is a 6 week one-on-one class with guaranteed results. During this class your puppy will learn everything they need to know to be a great adult dog. Starting a puppy's training at a young age (8-12 weeks) is the best way to avoid common adult dog issues and will ensure that you have an obedient and social dog for years to come. This class will give you, the handler, a solid teaching foundation in how dogs learn, various methods of dog training, the various stages of teaching a specific behavior, puppy raising tips, how to socialize your puppy properly with people and environments and more.

Our Puppy Development Class is a two-part class with an initial 4 weeks of continuous classes and then an additional 2 classes once the puppy is 6-8 months of age, totaling 6 weeks of training. Weekly classes are 1 hour in length. At the conclusion of each class, the Trainer prescribes a personalized training plan for the team to work until the following class.

Loose leash walking
Have a foundation in heeling (walking, right and left turns, about-faces; either contact or focused)

*Solutions to other common puppy problems will be taught as well, such as potty training, puppy biting, chewing and jumping.

All dogs/puppies are required to be up-to-date on vaccinations and free from fleas, worms, or parasites prior to beginning a training class. Proof of vaccinations and tests are REQUIRED for Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper and a fecal float test (which tests for parasites). A copy of your records will need to be emailed to [email protected] prior to your first class. These vaccinations and tests can all be received from your local vet for around $10-15 each. *
